- Through the MTN USSD code
The MTN code can be used to transfer airtime to other MTN users.
Dial *600*the MTN mobile number of the receiver*Amount*PIN# and send. For example, your PIN is 2342 and you are to send N500 to this mobile number ‘08132465475’ *600*08132465475*500*2342# and send if successful you receive an SMS from your network provider stating an amount you sent had been deducted from your previous mobile line balance.
- Through SMS
The format of the SMS method is:
Transfer(space)The MTN mobile number (space) Amount (space)Transfer PIN and send to 777, using the above example as SMS method go to your message app and compose ‘ Transfer 08132465475 500 2342 and to 777’. You will receive an SMS asking you to confirm just type YES and send it to 777.
- Through the MTN mobile app
When it comes to this method you have to download MTN mobile app from your Google play store or Apple store.
Important Notice
Understand that you can only transfer airtime to MTN users only. You can transfer up to N100, 000 daily but your single transfer should not be more than N5, 000.
