Love is a powerful thing that can change anything at any time, love begins with you treating others in the way you will love to be treated by them, love is also sacrifice; going beyond one’s self. With the current situation such as war, corruption, killings, and more. The only thing that can heal is LOVE.

Have you ever loved someone and they don’t love you? For me, that is the most frustrating thing ever. When love between two persons is not mutual it makes the other one loving get tired and the love graduate to hatred for humans not for God.

It is important to know that, the producer of any good or product, has the manual for better utilization of that good or product. The Author of life (GOD) has the only way to get peace and eternity is LOVE.

What is Love?

 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love (1JOHN4;7-8).

Therefore, love is God, the love of God is the only true love in the world, His love is unimaginable. Understand that love is simply the person of God. For us to succeed in love we have to follow His pattern to love others, going beyond our emotions and learning how to accommodate others.

How can we show we love God?

Our love for God is not a feeling but a commitment to His will and commandment, our emotions must be involved. The love of God can dwell in us through the Spirit of God because love is the nature of God, For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.2timothy1:7. We must have the Spirit of God first before the love of God can be made manifest in us, Paul speaking in Romans8:9-16 saying

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

This means you can’t have the Spirit of God if you are not a child of God, to become His child you need to accept the gift of God which is Jesus Christ His Son as your Savior and Lord. John3:3-6

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Then if we are in Christ we are perfected in love.

Loving others is one way to show that we love God

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also (1JOHN4:20-21).

Firstly, you need to love yourself for you to be able to love others, this understanding will enable you to treat others the way you want to be treated. Saying I love you to our parents simply means I understand your usefulness to God, me, and society. When we have this understanding about our relationship with others there can be war, deceit hatred, and all of those bad and mean stuff.

Secondly, God has always made room for men but men are always competing with men. One of the ways love can be expressed is by consciously limiting yourself for others to find Value. As a Parent, CEO, and Pastor whatever you may be even as a child you must as see the usefulness of others because that is what keeps the relationship. God our father, saw the usefulness of man, He anoints you for what you are not thinking if you will fail Him tomorrow. God does not wait for the man to be perfect. We should bear in mind that man cannot be perfect.

Proof of loving others

• You must accommodate others.
• You must honor others.
• You must forgive others.
• You must respect others and their opinions.
• You must give to others.

Obeying God and His commandment is another way to show that you love Him.

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like, unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Matt22:37-40

One of the blessings of obeying God is divine health which is one thing you can’t get with your money. Jesus says JOHN 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

[9] The LORD will establish you as a people holy to himself, as he has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and walk in his ways.
[13] And the LORD will make you the head, and not the tail; And you shall tend upward only, and not downward; if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day, being careful to do them,
[15] “But if you will not obey the voice of the LORD your God or be careful to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command you this day, then all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you.

Obeying God is what makes us break out from hatred.
