Airtel Network Limited had provided a service called Airtel Extra Credit. The Airtel Extra Credit allows all Airtel subscribers to borrow airtime when they run out of airtime and pay back on their next recharge.
This service is available to all Airtel subscribers but some requirements make you eligible to borrow airtime.
The Requirement to be Eligible
- You must be an Airtel subscriber for at least two months.
- You need to register your Airtel SIM.
- You must have recharged an average of N200 Monthly.
- You must not have any outstanding debt.
How to Borrow Airtime from Airtel
If you meet the requirement then you are good to use the service, I will take you through the steps just follow the instructions.
- Dial *500* desired amount# and send but in case you are not allowed to borrow that amount, just dial *500# and send the amount available to borrow will be displayed, and go for the one you are eligible for.
- After the first step, you then receive an SMS saying your request is being processed if you are eligible, and if not you will receive an SMS to recharge more to qualify.
Important Notice
The Airtel Extra Credit service is for prepaid registered SIM, and understand that 15% will be deducted as a service fee fror every amount you borrow.
